I got to Why Lawd late so when I saw everyone was raving about it, I was hoping that I felt the same and it wasn't a let down from the expectations being higher after the response it got. Man, I have not heard a better album this year and that's saying a lot because this is a very good year in music. This is spectacular from start to finish and so consistently replay able. I can't believe they surpassed Yes Lawd this decisively.

really feel like this album is one the biggest music related victories we've had in a long time. These guys completely killed the momentum of this project by waiting 8 years to drop, but it's clear that the end result is a high quality, cohesive project that was meditated over for a long time. Shout out to Stones Throw for allowing this shit to marinate. Shout out to the boys for seemingly not giving a fuck about the commercial viability of this project, for not just trying to run back a Yes Lawd Pt 2., and for making a really good album.

Initial thoughts. Maybe my most anticipated album of the decade; YesLawd is the blistering highs of single life, playing the field. WhyLawd is the end of relationships, the low points and reflection. A lot more depth and emotion in this than i expected.Listening to a lot of both Paak and Knx this week there's a lot growth in both lyrics and production. Are these songs going to have the same nostalgia that I have with the debut? Can I play this at a BBQ? Possibly.. but so far this feels like progression of their sound.

Not even hating, but this is easily the stupidest rollout ever. Jan 2021 - debut new song, later Knx says the album is finished he's just waiting for Andy to release. End of 2022 they release first single, 7 months later 2nd single, then they go on tour and now the tour is done with no info on when it's releasing. Just confusing to think about
