Embrace is shaping up to be a very nice Roosevelt experience, I am sad he has fallen into oblivion. No one reviewed it. :(

Album wasn't really all that in my opinion - paled in comparison to Polydans and his eponymous LP

I mean yes, but it's not really bad. To me on par with Polydans, but first two hold a special place in my heart.

That's fair. I personally favour his "night-time" music (which a lot of Roosevelt and Polydans fall under) as opposed to his brighter, more indie-pop stuff (like Young Romance and Embrace) — perhaps that's a bit reductive though.

Oh yeah, I totally get the “night music” vs “daytime disco pop” styles he has. I think I also prefer the night versions (pun intended). The only reason I was not in love with Polydans and appreciate Embrace more than I expected is that I do hear some new approaches he tried this time around instead of kinda doing the same thing. Still love him though!

'Young Romance' sounds nice - still not sure how timeless it will be (as the debut was really extraordinary, together with 'Elliot') - but more Roosevelt can only be a good thing!
