Support to research
The IGE has several supports to help it carry out its research missions :
- an administrative department whose mission is to handle all administrative tasks relating to budget management, expenditure execution, setting up and managing research contracts, human resources management and institutional communication.
- an IT department which manages all digital-related issues (network, scientific computing, databases, etc.).
- a technical department whose missions are divided into 5 areas : drilling, observations, electronics and instrumentation, laboratory analysis, infrastructure.
- an analytical platform which groups together platforms (instrumental parks) managed by personnel : PANDA and AirOsol analytical parks.
- a communication unit coordinated by a communication officer whose mission is to propose and implement internal and external communication initiatives.
