The Khadas Tone Board is a USB external Hi-Fi sound card specially developed for Khadas VIM SBCs by Khadas. Its superior performance and compatibility take the audio/visual experience to a whole new level. We integrated the advanced XMOS multi-core RISC micro-controller and ESS flagship 32-bit stereo mobile audio DAC ES9038Q2M into a small PCB. At the same time, we selected three independent high-performance OPAs and four ultra-low phase jitter oscillators for the audio system. Each power path is controlled by a separate ultra-low noise CMOS linear regulator with an OPA of ± 5.5V. In addition to the powerful hardware configuration, we also maximize the performance through excellent PCB design.

Khadas aims to gradually realize the ideas and dreams of makers to help them grow. The two versions of the Tone Board's RCA output interface are the same, both have 2 RCA for analog output @ 2.0Vrms, and 1 RCA for S/PDIF input or output.

Users can directly connect their Tone Board to the PC via the USB-C interface, and the Tone Board is the ideal choice for audio developers. Khadas' New VIM Heatsink can also be used with VIM and Tone Board.
