BuCa is a musical project that brings together the different yet complementary experiences of Matteo Buzzanca and CATTANEO.
Matteo Buzzanca is an Italian composer of music for movies and tv series and a songwriter. Besides an innate sensitivity for modern music, his skills extend to a remarkable command of classical forms, symphonic orchestration and sound manipulation for electronic music.
CATTANEO is an Italian musician, songwriter, producer and electronic performer. His approach is based on the creation of sonic particles – improvised fragments that exist both as single entities and in harmony with others. These particles have the ability to endlessly reinvent themselves, especially when interacting with external collaborations, embracing complete compositional freedom. It merges electronic music experimentation with deep inner search.
Inspired by meditative, spiritual and philosophical themes, the two artists explore the boundaries between sound and silence, offering an auditory experience that invites introspection. Their compositions blend ambient atmospheres, synthetic textures and hypnotic rhythms, creating a sonic journey that evokes reflections about existence, conscience and the connection with the transcendent.
Every song is conceived as a meditative path, where to listen is to dialogue with the Soul and the Universe.
