Liz Cass is a UK pop artist on the rise. Connecting with her listeners through heart on sleeve lyrics and honest, relatable story telling, her captivating vocals are displayed among expansive, electronic orchestral tones.
A musical journey that began as a young choral scholar and a trajectory that has taken many twists and turns. Liz penned her first song in her teens with Grammy award-winning producer Fraser T Smith and as a featured artist has collaborated with some of Dance music’s finest - Hot Since 82, Matador and Nora En Pure among others.
After a chance meeting with Bath-based producer Ed Graves, Liz embarked on two years of writing sessions at Rainbow Wood Studios for her solo album. Killers - her debut single - was released at the end of 2021 and was championed by Wonderland Magazine. A Matador remix of the track proved a radio hit with spins on Radio 1, BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing London.
With ‘Near Miss’ the music took an exciting turn. A huge electro-pop track with bouncy synths, soaring keys and a propulsive beat. It follows the release of singles ‘Shaken’ and ‘Human’ which capture a pivotal moment of healing for Liz.
‘Something Real’ - the penultimate single to the artist’s highly anticipated debut album “The Words” (21.10.22) - is up next. An emotive synth-pop song reflecting on escaping toxicity and self discovery. Out now on Ultra.
