My latest track 'How to Know' will be out on 10th November
Music has always been a pivotal of Aydn’s life. In 1998 he started DJ’ing and would spend most Saturday’s record hunting for the latest bangers which he would then play relentlessly at home and various venues to hone his craft.
Friday and Saturday nights were initially reserved for travelling the country visiting the best underground nightclubs and DJ’s. Cream, Fabric, The Shindig and The Mint Club were all mainstays where he witnessed the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Craig Richards, Lee Burridge and Terry Francis whip the crowds into a frenzy.
Shortly after moving to Leeds, UK in 2000, Aydn secured his first residency at Revolution in call lane where he spent about 5 years DJ’ing. This period had the biggest influence on his musical taste as he played a lot of deep house and more uplifting music. His preference, however, was always linked to the deeper more melodic side of soft techno.
Aydn describes his current musical style as a mix between combining the deep low end underground sounds of past gone days with the more vibrant and uplifting classic house tracks. He likes to add in bongos, congas, maracas and various sound effects to mix it up a bit.
