DJ Johnny Blaze, born John Drummond, emerged from humble beginnings in Negril, Jamaica, to become a renowned DJ and producer. His love for music, ignited by his father's Soca collection, led him to pursue his passion despite initial skepticism from his family. Sneaking out to listen to DJ Mackey as a teenager fueled his determination to master the art of DJing.
Blaze's journey took him from local gigs to prestigious venues like Sandals Negril, where he honed his skills and earned certifications from TPDCO and The DJ Academy of Jamaica. His stage name, "Johnny Blaze," was bestowed upon him by a Rastafarian admirer, symbolizing his fiery performances.
