U.K. based Ioan (www.djioan.com) has burst onto the world-music scene with a number of chart topping releases to his name which have led to national radio air plays worldwide including the highly acclaimed UK BBC Radio & Kiss FM and support from leading DJ's such as Erick Morillo, Harry Romero, Graeme Park, BLOND:ISH and Gregor Salto.
His work was picked up by Erick Morillo's Subliminal Records and featured in the Miami 2020 compilation with the #04 charting latin/tech-house bomb 'Corre Morenita'. Ioan has also delivered chart topping remixes for afro house heavy-weights Silvano Del Gado and Christos Fourkis. Inspired by the ethnic vibes of world music his productions deliver a fusion entwined of electronic and house music resulting in a hedonistic and afro spirited feel which is both deeply alluring and infectiously groovy.
Ioan hosts his radio show/podcast titled 'Ibiza Sunsets With Ioan' which delivers a DJ mix of the latest 'afro-latin flavoured' music mixed with live percussion delivered by Ioan. The show already has a cult-like following on multiple channels with radio show residencies in the UK, Spain and USA which includes a weekly show on the leading Electronic/Deep House Station ‘BeachGrooves Radio’ based in Marbella.
