About “The Ball Chair Experience”
When Crima was seven years old, he stumbled onto his mom’s record collection. The album „Oxygène“, from French Electronic pioneer Jean Michel Jarre, became his first love. He also found other styles such as disco and soul in the record collection, which he quickly came to adore. Then, as a teenager, he became addicted to the genius of Bebop pianist Bud Powell.
Later, when he began playing music himself, he began to ask himself how it would be possible to live in all of these musical worlds at the same time?

Crima has studied music at the University of Music in Mannheim as well as in Trossingen, Germany.

Learning and performing all of these styles has been an inspiring part of his education.
Now - twenty years later – he’s decided to use all of this experience and to give Dancefloor-Jazz another try by connecting the improvisational approach of Jazz with the stirring motion of Dancefloor Music.
With “The Ball Chair Experience”, he’s happy to feature many of the real analog music instruments, which he has collected and perfected over the years in his studio…
