Born in Denmark with an adventurous spirit, Sudha started her journey of selfdiscovery at an early age through the path of performing arts. In her twenties she left Denmark to follow her wanderlust which took her to many corners of the world gathering inspiration and wisdom from many diverse cultures and traditions.
This has resulted in five albums as a solo artist. The debut album, “Planet Love, sacred chants honouring the Earth”, released in 2004, won 2 COVR Music Awards in 2005 for “Best CD of the Year” and for “Best Vocal Album”. In 2007 came the album, “Sharanam, sacred chants of Devotion”, a meditative album of Sanskrit mantras. Third album, “In Her Name”, is a celebration of the Divine Feminine principals and has mantras and chants from the Far East, India and West Africa. In 2019 the meditation album, "Chakra Dhyana", a practice for balancing the energy centres in the body with sound - and in 2023, "Om"
As a session singer and guest vocalist, Sudha has contributed to recordings in styles varying from smooth jazz to dance, world music to lullabies and many more on over 20 albums. She has worked with many renowned artists in the field of Sacred World Music, both live and on recordings.
Since returning to Denmark in 2019 after 18 years abroad, Sudha has dived more into a style of song writing which weaves the influences of her travels with her Nordic roots. Throughout 2023/24 Sudha has released 6 singles from the coming album "her Nature" to be released later in 2024.
