I think I've finally come to realize after being a Hokie fan for over 30 years that I need to just accept mediocrity at best. Even in past years when the team was stacked with talent, Tech just could never get over the hump. This year has pretty much been the low point (so far) of my years of relentlessly cheering them on and always trying to find the bright spot, saying we're just a year away. I am truly starting to think that we may never get there, that we are light years away. I will remain a Hokie fan till I die, but I am probably just going to lower my expectations and be happy with the average. That bowl streak sure was nice. Looks like it may be a while till we start another one. This season has been very reminiscent of my days on campus when Frank first arrived. Oh well, I enjoyed the highs, I guess I have to be ready to endure a long period of the lows.
