Rania Aniftos is a New York-born, Los Angeles-based entertainment journalist who has been working for Billboard since she was an editorial intern in 2017. She was raised by Greek-Cypriot parents and graduated from the University of Southern California (Class of 2017) with a bachelor’s in journalism and a minor in music industry. Rania is passionate about all things pop, rock, pop culture and lifestyle and as an associate editor for Billboard, she integrates her knowledge into wide-ranging interviews with today's top stars, from Billy Joel and Jimmy Fallon to Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Noah Kahan, Katy Perry and more. She also happily contributes to Billboard's video content and red carpet coverage, and has attended major events including the Golden Globes, Grammy Awards, Billboard Women in Music and more.
