A 5-star place all over, but not a cold industry-like crowded place like other resorts. Not too many rooms (42) but lots of space, not crowded, relaxed an laid back... Facilities were great. Huge parking, no problems here. And a special plus for the highly professional original eclectic design.

From $68 per nightFantastic location perched on a hillside above the Messinian gulf and lots of balconies and sitting areas to take it all in. Up a winding, one-track, road from the coast (arrive before dark!) but once you make it there is lots of parking. Had a studio apartment which was one big room with a sitting area, bedroom and kitchen. Staff was very friendly and even helped us with our laundry. We were there in April so Kalamata was still quiet but this was our spot to chill in the middle of the trip and worked perfectly for that. Definitely recommend!

A far more than adequate hotel for the two of us for our 11 night stay. Great size room overlooking the sea. The breakfasts were generous but a bit the same each day. Staff were friendly and always said 'Good morning' Very well located for the beach,shops and airport and ideally central for visiting other resorts in and around the Messinian Gulf. Could be a bit noisy for the early to bed brigade but a decent pair of earplugs will allow a good nights sleep. We both loved it.

It was a lovely room that had everything we needed: a built-in kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, stove, dish washing liquid), a bathroom with a new shower, and a spacious balcony with a fantastic view of part of the Messinian bay. Theodora was a wonderful and caring host.

Staying at the Sunrise Village Hotel was an absolute delight. The private beach and stunning views of the Messinian Gulf made every moment special. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the service was impeccable. We loved exploring nearby ancient sites and enjoyed the delicious Greek dishes at the restaurant. Highly recommended!

The hotel room had a wonderful view over the Messinian bay. The room was spacious and clean. Air-condition was working well. Just 40 steps away from a private quiet beach with pebbles and clean sea, where we always found a free umbrella. The service at the beach was fantastic. Great experience!

The place is marvelous, next to the seaside, in Marathopolis with lots of cafes and taverns and 10' by car from wonderful sandy beaches. This is a value for money hotel, an ideal place to navigate Messinia, a place blessed by God.

Everything was excellent. The food buffet was plenty. The facilities were very clean. We were right off the beach so we didn't need to drive anywhere. The staff were very friendly but could use a little more training.

We really enjoyed our night stay out of high season. The whole feel of the place was peaceful, the perfect place to relax. Communication with Rena before and during our stay was great. The apartments are modern and exceptionally clean; we had a very comfortable stay. The best part was enjoying a drink in the evening sitting on the terrace in the restaurant below watching the stunning sunset.
