It is an amazing place to explore! The "party" mood feels at the entrance of the area, so young people and so many pubs and restaurants. Late hours were quiet; the pubs followed the law for noise very well. I would say the closest beaches are not as good as the popular ones, like "Ag. Georgious." The closest good beaches I would recommend are: "Kanoula Beach", "Mikro Nisi Beach" and "Paralia Gardenos".DimitarBulgaria - Scored 4.04.0

Kavos is aimed at broke party goers. It's dated and quite nasty. Some restaurants are quite good The Greek Taverna, but the area is quite sleezy. Avoid Trabukos was horrid! We left and moved to Sirocco Hotel which was much better. Beach area was ordinary but good for boat tour to Paxos.michelleAustralia - Scored 8.08.0

The place is pretty small, you can tour the entire town in 20 minutes on foot. Most of the establishments are made to resemble english pubs. They feel cheap and plastic. We stayed at Sweet Dreams 10 mins walk down the beach from Cavo D`Oro. Gregory the host was very helpful and sorted out any questions that we had.We ate at Aristos where Georgio made us very welcome and the food is terrific and reasonably priced. Boating trips and boat hire we got from Blue Bliss ( 3 mins walk from Sweet dreams ).Cavos Beach House is another great place to stay and Maria the host is fantastic. Aqualand and Blue lagoon trips were organised by Jason at Ariston travel who goes out of his way to make sure you get the right deal.Best to go end of August/September when less eedjits around but Cavos Beach House and Sweet Dreams are far enough away from the strip you don`t hear any loud music. Kavos is a wonderful place with good people to spend your summer vacation. You need to rent your own transport to explore the beaches, like a motorbike or an ATV. It is impossible in the heat to walk for kilometers and be happy about it. And there is a lot to see and enjoy the wonderful beaches with restaurants, music, drinks.StanimirUnited Kingdom

Are there more luxury apartments? Yes, but due to Antonis I wouldn't choose anything else. Frodo Studios is near to everything you want yet it is located in a peaceful quiet and calm part of Kavos, not in the middle of the chaos where you couldn't rest till morning. It was nice, spacious and clean. We were also hosted by Dimitri and Spyridon. All three of them gave us good service and great recommendations. They made us feel very welcomed and made our stay very pleasant. We totally recommend this hotel. We will definitely book this hotel again when we go back to Corfu!YasmineBelgium

Check-in and check-out are very easy, due to the locker near the door. The public bus station to Corfu Town is one minute away.
