Sofia sea view house, hotel in Faros

Sofia sea view house is a recently renovated vacation home in Faros where guests can make the most of the private beach area and garden.

The location is magical - secluded and quiet. The bed is incredibly comfortable and I enjoyed a very restful sleep. The house is nicely decorated, with great water pressure for showers. Beautiful breeze at night. Sofia is a lovely host and very communicative on WhatsApp. A maintenance man lives nearby for any issues, but we did not have any.

Mihaela Apartments Sifnos, hotel in Faros

Featuring garden views, Mihaela Apartments Sifnos in Faros provides accommodations and a garden. With sea views, this accommodation offers a terrace.

Our hosts Michaela and Kostas were very welcoming to the point that offered us a warm Greek meal that they just prepared for their family, discreet and very informative. Every day our room was thoroughly cleaned, with fresh bed sheets, in the style of Michaela. After our trip, we were welcomed with a spotless room (really clean), fully equipped fridge. Really close to three of the best beaches on the island, like Faros, apokofto and glyphos beach. On Faros in about 5 mins distance from our room, we found an excellent restaurant named "Limanaki" with fresh fish and amazing shrimp pasta, warm and welcoming staff.

We loved the location. The studio was simple but had everything we needed. the cleaner was very sweet and helpful despite our inability to speak each other's language. She was our main resource as we rarely saw the owners. The view and ambience was very restful. It was quiet and peaceful but easily accessible from beaches and tavernas on foot.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.
