This charming apartman is the truly the best stay in Corfu island. The inside part is really lovely and the owner provided many things to us, you can feel that there is really a heart in it, not just a place to stay. The environment is filled with love. The garden is also amazing, there is a wonderful old bay tree and olive tree there which are adding to the amazing and breathtaking sea view of the place. You can also find more herbs, a lemon and a kumquat tree there. The area is really silent, you can hear the birds, you can meet nice cats sometimes and every morning you can have a fascinating sunrise experience with a very fresh air from the sea. We stayed here as a family with 3 kids and all of us enjoyed it so much. We will never forget this place. If we come back, we will stay only here. Thank you for everything.

Great apartment in the perfect location: few restaurants nearby, the beach is just 2 minutes downstairs (we had no problem going up and down even tho we have a 4 yo with us. The most pleasant host: Remonda, helped us with what we needed and even what we didn't ask for (she brought us a sun umbrella that we were using the whole vacation). The apartment itself is nice and clean with a great view.

Barbati is a special place .stunning beach , crystal clear water, mountains behind you . You can watch the sunrise on an almost deserted beach and go to fab bars/tavernas later in the day / eve . Plenty of shade if you need it from ancient olive trees or loungers you can pay for . Totally perfect for us (2 adults 2 teens ).

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the location of the villa. Barbati had 2 beaches one very small which was superb and a larger one with all the facilities. Barbati offered a number of good restaurants and there were plenty of supermarkets. Perfect place for just getting away from it, reminded me of being in Amalfi!

Its a lovely quiet place for families.
Its a lovely quiet place for families. I hadn't realised however, how mountainous Corfu is. The walk down and up to the beach/main street is quite a killer, especially in 38 degree heat! I wish that I had twigged earlier that all the restaurants do take away, when we did then we ate in our apartment as none of the restaurants have air con. My daughter really struggled with the heat and although the restaurants all have open sides, there was no breeze and it was extremely hot even when sitting under fans. We didn't rent a car on this trip but I would definitely do so if returning. If going to the Waterpark, on some days a bus from the Aquapark passes through Barbati and is much cheaper than a taxi. It takes about an hour to get there and was hassle free. For boat trips, we went with www.asterasboatcruises.gr. They came and picked us up for no extra charge at about 9am (other boat cruises go much earlier) and took us to Dassia. Marilena was super friendly and helpful, we had a great cruise round the North-East part of Corfu.

Liked Barbati the first time we stayed years ago and returned last September. Liked the laid back atmosphere and the restaurants and scenery and decided to return again in June 2024. The only issue with Barbati is there are no pavements and it is a very busy road, not suitable for children to walk along in my opinion..

Love how Barbati has just the right amount of restaurants, shops and bars. It's not too crowded and not too quiet. Lovely people from all around the world. Not rowdy at all. The views can be spectacular and if you're lucky - you may see an eagle soaring over the distant mountains of Albania at sunset as we did - awe inspiring. 'Coffee Lovers' has the best coffee and the best breakfast with lovely friendly owners. The beach is well away from the main road and I love the white and beautiful pebbles. The sea is clean and clear for swimming -but watch out for the cheeky fish - they can nip you if you stand still for too long. It doesn't really hurt but it makes you jump. Barbati is one of my favourite places on the whole of Corfu island so don't drive by - stop and enjoy this lovely spot.

Barbati is a small quiet resort with only a few shops, restaurants, cafes etc. It is the first of the smaller resorts going North from Corfu town after the far busier looking Ipsos and Dassia. It is quite high above the beach which is lovely. We went in April so many facilities were closed. buses to Corfu town and Kassiopi are infrequent and irregular. A taxi is about 50 euros to Corfu Town. The road is narrow, windy and busy so although a car would be ideal you need to be a confident driver. The locals are very friendly and helpful. A few words of Greek is appreciated (Please, thank you etc) but not essential especially for English speakers.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, in a perfect location. Barbati was really the best beach we spent time at in Corfu. Loved the location of the property, perched on a hill for great views, but just a five-10 minutes walk from all restaurants, the beach, cafes, markets, etc. The prettiest and most well-maintained property in the area for sure with spacious rooms, kitchenette, a pool, parking, and great balconies. Very friendly and helpful service. Would highly recommend.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. Dora even cleaned our room 2 times during our 10 days stay, so we had a clean room all the time! Also the room was completely renovated so everything was very comfortable. I would advice everyone to stay here. Also you just walk down, cross the street and there's the beach. Barbati beach is the best beach of whole Corfu: clean, nice water and enough restaurants.

It was a wonderful vacation! The apartments are very cozy, there is everything you need - a kettle, coffee machine, toaster and much more. The owner George is a very nice person, always ready to help and advise. A 10-minute walk away is George's restaurant with very tasty dishes and reasonable prices. If we come to Corfu again, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks a lot!

The place is located 100 meters from the beach, which is one of the best on Corfu due to clean warm water and the view. The apartment is well decorated and furnished. Looks like on the photos. It has all the equipment and utensils for kitchen you may possibly need. The terrace is wonderful.

The view from the apartment was amazing, we could see the blue seaside and the coast of that part of Corfu. The apartment was very clean and big enough for one family and the nearest beach with sunbeds was at almost 1 km away.
