Excellent product. Feels very good quality and sturdy. Works well.

If you are in the market to purchase a tripod... this table tripod is ideal especially for persons focusing on video streaming from a desk.

The tripod specifications are already written, so what this comment will capture is a review of the product...

The frame is solid... this is not your typical aluminum frame that will bend after constant use.

The frame is supported within the center and of such supports evenly distributed weight of the device...

The legs can extend up to a modest size of 19" as mentioned and of such, the support is their for the electronic

device which can be placed on it.

The packaging is great... I like protection from dusty areas... the legs have individual plastics... they are thin but it was thought through for initial scratch purposes...

It comes in a very sturdy bag cut to the size of the tripod... maybe a little larger... and it has a carry bag which allows for easy transportation and all contained in a box.

I have made sure to do dilligent research on this product... My methodology focuses areound expenditure... and the fact that with this one time purchase in mind...it is to ensure that this investment will last forever...🙄 aka I don't have money to waste so this is the only time I'm spending money to buy a tripod.

Buy This Product... it will stand.

Took this to the range yesterday as a sporting scope mount. It did it's job, but it's really not what this is truly designed for. Looking through the scope, even the tiniest of touches sent vibrations all through it. Next time I'll bring some of my led scuba diving bean bag weights to help stableize it.
It's the build quality you'd expect from a $30 product. Everything except the actual legs, tube, and bolts for the screws, is made of plastic. The mechanism to hold your device to the tripod is plastic, and the angle plate is too. Even a little bit too much torque and the plate holding my scope popped out of the shoe. Again, this is probably the serious upper weight limit for the tripod, my spotting scope is seriously heavy, but it's a concern no matter.

TL;DR Did exactly what I wanted it to do, for a price I was happy to pay, for an acceptable quality.

This is a phenomenal tabletop tripod mount. I needed a mount for doing unboxing, but I needed it to be very adjustable so I could get the right angles with my camera. This tripod fit the bill perfectly. There are so many different ways to adjust it to get the perfect angle. It's extremely well made and build of solid materials. The knobs and adjustments also seem high quality and built to last. The built in leveler is a nice touch to make sure you're getting the best possible shot. The legs have rubber feet so that the tripod wont slide and ruin your perfect angle. The only issue I had was when I mounted my camera. The mount has an additional little thing (for lack of a better term) which hindered my ability to mount my camera. I'm not a camera mount expert but I was able to resolve this issue by simply removing the "thing". Aside from that, this is an awesome camera tripod and I highly recommend it.
Reviewed in the United States on July 16, 2017
Very pleased with this purchase. I got a lot of tripod for the price, or for a higher price. I can alter the camera angle, position, height, etc, to the fullest extent that could be hoped for. And that position is held securely in place. There are two leg extentions of each tripod leg, and they all raise and lower easily and lock securely. I wish it was so easy on my larger, quite expensive, tripod. This is an intelligently designed, and well made, tripod that I expect to use for many years. I write this entirely of my own volition, without any form of compensation.

Have to say I really like this tripod. Sturdy, easy to adjust and just the right height for the purpose.
Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2016
I will say this is what I was looking for as a small tripod. I own a Canon 70d, and wanted something that was able to maintain the weight of that camera and a reasonable sized lens (in my case a Canon 18-135mm STM lens) while shooting low to the ground. (or table as in my case) It's not perfect by no means, as is most things, but it does what I need it to do. I think it has too much junk in the trunk, as in the long handle, the crank, and the leg extension clips. It is a full size tripod, shrunken. And I say this next sentence not to degrade anyone, just to try to explain. It's like a shorter than normal person (i.e. midget), perfectly acceptable, but not quite normal. (I had a good friend that was as described. Regrettably, he passed at a less than normal age.) So my point being, this would be a terrific small tripod if it was simpler. The quality is good, but it just has more than I need for a small tabletop tripod, but with so many full size attributes, it's just begging for breakage.I haven't used it all that much, so I may just be blowing in the wind, but only time will tell. For it's size, it has about the largest payload rating in it's class, which is why I bought it in the first place. And, it does hold my camera/lens combination, which weighs out at 2.4 lbs. The biggest negative is the part that attaches to the camera is very small and is loose in the base. I tightened down the base as tight as I felt safe doing so, but still is somewhat loose and wobbly. That would be the biggest downer and makes it sort of useless for someone who demands no wobbles. I think based on that , it should be priced $10 cheaper and lowers my star rating from 4 stars to 2.5

4.0 out of 5 stars Works - but be aware the QR plate system is not proprietary
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 22, 2021
I needed a cabinet/table top tripod for a video camera whilst evaluating event streaming possibilities. For that the tripod met my needs.

For wider use by amateur/semi pro be aware the QR system is integral and if like me you also use the Manfrotto style plate you are stymied as there is no interchangeability. I have also not found a source of additional camera plates handy if you have other cameras.

Because the QR plate position is fixed you can also end up with with the release on the wrong side away from you.

Reviewed in Canada on December 26, 2018
When I replaced my old camera with a Nikon D7500 and added an 18 - 400 zoom lens, my old Gorilla tripod gave up the ghost. It could not handle the combined weight of the camera and zoom lens. Researching many camera buff sites, the Retican tabletop tripod was always highly rated in the reviews. I received mine for Christmas and gave it a quick test drive today. Obviously, it will not replace my usual Manfrotto tripod, but its portability and small size is exactly what I wanted. It will be easy to tote when hiking and the 3-way, pan-tilt head provides a lot of flexibility to frame a subject. First impressions are excellent. My only concern, and only time will tell, is that many of the parts are made of plastic. Will this be an issue over the long haul? I will just have to wait and see, but in the interim, I am quite happy with it.
