Under certain circumstances that I'd rather not go into here, I am able to experience sound to visual synesthesia (I can see music). I was wondering if anyone else with this ability noticed any patterns.
For example, for me, drums never seem to be solid, they are kind of sandy and bass is always dark. I can describe shapes, positions, movement and brightness for each sound, while describing color is more difficult.
