I have taught Kindergarten-2nd grade and 6th grade here in Vermont. I am looking to help students with specific challenges they might be having in ELA, Math and more. I have experience with tutoring during the pandemic and am looking to make a difference in struggling students learning experiences.

My experience working with children started when I was an undergrad tutoring at the local Montessori school for one of my courses. After graduation, I worked at that school running the afterschool program, as well as providing childcare at times for families that were a part of the school community. From there, I went on tobecome certified in Montessori, and taught children ages 3-6 for a few years before going to graduate school to get my master's in early childhood education. During and after graduate school I was a nanny for one family and also provided occasional childcare for other families. Fast forward a few years, I moved to Vermont from San Francisco, had a child of my own (who is now 12), and taught at the local Montessori school for 7 years.
