He jumps out of the car every morning and can’t wait to go see his teachers and friends. His days are filledwith crafts, music, age appropriate learning and plenty of play. "We absolutely adore New Horizon Academy. The staff are kind, patient, friendly, and fun, and we know they are providing excellent care to our little one. We especially love to see the pictures they take of her adventures throughout the day and appreciate that sheis also learning so much from the creative activities her teachers devise. "First of all I do not believe my testimony will do justice to the true feelings I have about this establishment but I will try. In my journey through motherhood I found myself on this road alone from the time I was 2 months pregnant. I had no choice but to put mydaughter in daycare at 4 months because I had to go back to work. I will not say the name of the previous company my daughter attended but she was with this previous company from 4 months all the way to 2 1/2 years old. Although the experience began beautifully it ended horribly. I found myself in a predicament to remove my daughter effective immediately from the previous school. I had to take two weeks off of work to try and find a new school for her. I toured 8 other schools. In my research KidWorks was ranked a top establishment in Gainesville through repeated, long term families in Gainesville. Word of mouth! No billboards, no radio,no bus advertising just true customer experience word of mouth. Very hesitant to put her back in daycare (but with no other choice) I decided to reach out. I was astonished when I messaged that evening how Julie (the director) reached out to me within 30 minutes. Most people won’t even acknowledge their phones after 5! She answered at 9:00 PM!! Again she’s amazing. We set up an interview for the following day (every other daycare required a 1 week notice) for me to come tour. The rest is history. Julie was so receptive in speaking and understanding my experience at the previous school. Her confidence and commanding( but loving) presence at the school captivated me. Every single staff member follows the process, procedures, guidelines and expectations set forth by their leader and company. I have yet to walk in one time and see the school dirty, the bathrooms dirty, kids unhappy or teachers in a bad mood. That is what I experienced at the previous company. They do not have a turnover rate. I use that term because I work in the automotive industry and we have a high turnover rate of employees. My daughters teacher Ms.Winnie is the kindest, sweetest most moving soul you can meet. The children are just captivated by her light. If there is ever a time that Julie is not there the assistant director Diane runs the show the same way Julie would. They are a united team. ALL the teachers are literally amazing. They ALL know my name, address me by name, say good morning, ask me how my day was, they are all eager to tell me about my daughters day. I would like to clarify that I am not just speaking about the teachers in her group. I am speaking about ALL the teachers in the entire school. They ALL know ALL the kids. My daughter absolutely LOVES to go to school which was something I never experienced at her previous school. From a business perspective I appreciate that the school is so clean, the training required for teachers, the advancement of educational practices that they use for her age group, the fact that she is not in one room all day like your average daycare. I do not feel she goes to daycare I feel like she goes to a private academy. You walk in and can smell how clean the school is. She has a lunch area, reading area, different educational sections, live animals for learning and enrichment (which I love because I am a big animal advocate). I truly can not say enough about the deep appreciation and gratitude I have. Now as a review I am sure not everyone wants to only know what’s great. The areas of opportunity i genuinely really don’t have any. They even do a parents night!! Can I get an Amen! lol! Honestly they are wonderful. I am a loyal Momstronaut now!! ( I am totally making a T-shirt when I finish this review) But honestly, genuinely and seriously our children are irreplaceable. Don’t risk leaving your children in the hands of the wrong people. You do not EVER want to go through what I have been through. Bring them to KidWorks because it WORKS!... show more

"My child has attended First Congregational Preschool for a year. We were initially drawn to this preschool because they have integrated, interest based classrooms. In addition to being nationally accredited and having to meet the appropriate standards, thepreschool provides many extra curricular activities for the children and families to enrich their development in all areas of learning. The teachers are very knowledgeable and are able to adjust to meet the individual needs of the students and help them feel comfortable amongst their peers. My child needed a place that could meet him where he was and help him grow and First Congregational Preschool has been a wonderful, safe environment for him to achieve this. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have him attend this preschool.... show more

"Next Steps Learning center has cared for all 3 of our children and the care is top notch! They have low turnover in teachers because the owners care and take care of their employees. You can except a healthy environment, great education, loving and dedicatedteachers/atmosphere! My kids have always felt safe, loved and happy at Next Steps Learning Center! We've had 2 graduate from NSLC and they have been fully prepared and ready for Kindergarten. I cannot recommend Next Steps Learning Center enough! ... show more

"My child has attended Montessori Explorer for 3 years. The staff have made the transition from preschool to Kindergarten wonderful for him. When he had difficulty potty training at school they took the time to observe and trouble shoot with us. They have changedhis grade levels based on where his skills were versus simply age, meaning he could move up quickly as he mastered things or slowly if he had trouble. Lastly, they've accommodated his food allergies with sincerity. They notify me of celebrations with food, make arrangements so he is safe, and allow me to provide food at parties that he can share with his friends. There are other schools much closer to us, but we'll be staying at Montessori Explorer for as long as possible. ... show more
