It is extremely stressful to search for a daycare facility, especially with your first baby. My husband and I could not be happier and more blessed with having found Gigi's Family Daycare. Our son started at Gigi's when he was 4 months old, he is now 4 years old and his baby sister has joined himthere as well. I am impressed at how much they both learn. My son is fully bilingüal (Spanish/English), he can write most letters in the alphabet, knows his numbers in both languages, and he acts with much kindness and care for others because it is reflected in those that care for him. I honestly feel like I am leaving my kids with family every single day I drop them off. My kids are always happy to go to daycare, and most days are sad when we pick them up haha, that definetely says something about this excellent place. Gigi's daycare follows an organized schedule filled with learning, sharing, creative, and fun activities. Mondays, for example, they have "circle time", where each child shares what they did over the weekend. My son is able to clearly tell a story, in sequence of events. On Fridays they have their "fun day", where they dance and sing songs. I have a list of a thousand good things that happen at this daycare. I would say this facility is more of a learning center when it comes to their curriculum, and very much a family daycare when it comes to how much care goes into each child. I cannot say enough good things about Gigi's Family Daycare....

"It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of Mimi's House. Lisa is an attentive, and loving caregiver and we could not be happier with the care she provides.
I love that Lisa is able to provide an intimate environment where each child receives personalizedattention. The children are all able to fit in her lap and participate in story time or play activity. This was in stark contrast to other daycare centers we visited, where toddlers received a small percentage of individualized time per day.
Lisa is very organized and professional and provides plenty of activities throughout the day to keep our toddler busy and engaged. Time is spent outdoors exploring and playing with new toys (she has a kiddie roller coaster that my son loves!). Lisa also provides plenty of arts and crafts, books, coloring, imagination games and new experiences. My son has absolutely thrived under Lisa's care. I've noticed his vocabulary skyrocket due to the abundance of books and activities provided each day. He has learned so much and I am continuously amazed by the new concepts he has mastered.
Lisa has great energy and is very easy to communicate with. I am so grateful for her love and care and I trust her wholeheartedly with our precious baby. Her organization and abundance of developmentally appropriate activities are superb and I feel that our little one is getting the best experience. Lisa is a fantastic caregiver and educator. "When I worked for Terri little pumpkin it was POORLY and not operated by a professional who truly cared for the kids and staff needs . IN ORDER TO RUN a program your staff has to be trained and treated with respect. It was a big mess I felt bad for the kids andthe untrained ratchet teachers . So unstructured but not their fault. I see that it has new owners and as a director I pray that the staff gets the support and Trainings that is required to run a smooth and great environment so the children can learn all the milestones that will help them through there developmental needs. And yes the food was horrible) but again if it's managed wrong, everything will be wrong. If you ever need training hours for your staff I can come in and train for an hour on different themes of curriculum, lesson plans , from classrooms designs and implementing , and different topics to help the teacher grow in her journey to child development . The key to a Great Childcare is having a great environment which starts off with administration and teachers then everything will fall into place for the children to grow and learn . Good luck I have passed by and it looks better then TLP...

"Ms Anjeza has been the teacher of my two boys. She has had them since they were infants and she always has been so compassionate and loving. The drop of was so easy and it was melting my heart how they loved her and how she was treating them with love, but thehardest time was the pick up, sometimes they didn't want to come to me but thy were hugging Ms Anjeza and wanted to stay with her instead (this was so meaningful to me since I could see the connection that she had built with them, even though I was a little jealous hahaha just kidding). I was so nervous as a 1st time mom, and she made me feel so at ease with nap time, feeding(breast milk at first and then formula), safety, and playing with the other kids. I NEVER felt anxious about leaving my daughter in her care. She sent me pictures of sweet things she was doing and always asked before using any new diaper creams or trying new food. Unfortunately we were re-stationed after our daughter turned one, but we will consider Kathy a member of our family forever....
