Hello, I have 10+ years of babysitting experience as well as 3 years as a full time nanny. I'm CPR certified through the state. I think having fun while learning is incredibly important for children so I love doing arts and crafts or outdoor activities with them.
20+ years of public teaching experience working with all ages. I taught K, 2, and 3 grades. I am currently working as a substitute teacher, and looking into returning to private childcare. Before I became a teacher, I operated a home daycare for 7 years, which led to my return to college to get a teaching degree in EarlyChildhood and Elem. K-6. I raised 2 children of my own (1 boy, 1 girl), and am happy to say they are both grown independent adults. I love children and children & pets love me. References available upon request. I have experience with twins, also. In the past, I also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader; as well as, a Church Nursery Attendant. I am certified in CPR and 1st aid. Update: I have had 3 total Nanny positions to date, just haven't followed through to get referrals on file. My second nanny position was a boy from 3 months to current occasional at 3 years old. Third position was a 3-year-old girl and 9-month-old boy. This one was discontinued during Covid....
