We are looking for a nanny / babysitter for our 6-year-old twin boys who is available for two full months this summer (mid June to midAugust) from 8:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday. We work full time, and can work from home if necessary; that said, we'd love to find a trusted babysitter who can be the primary caretaker during our work hours. Some days, the boy's grandparents will want to spend time and take care of the kids for a few hours; during those time periods, we'd welcome help with the kid's laundry, cleaning and organizing the kid's room and play area, and some meal prep. Our 6-year-old twin boys love: building Legos, playing pretend / imaginary games, riding bikes and scooters, reading books and listening to stories, drawing, crafts. We love to get them outside, and have a yard and trails in the woods behind our house for exploring and playing. We try to minimize TV time, and are looking for someone who supports this approach. The boys are great about playing together, so do not need constant engagement from the adults around them - but they also love when the adults do play with them! Our boys are quite independent and can retrieve drinks and snacks, as well as get themselves ready to go outside very independently. They do need support around using the bathroom and meals.
