Academy Of Bilingual Children Spanish Immersion Childcare

Danessa was a GODSEND. I sent my daughter here from 5 months to 3 years and have not regretted it for a second. As a first time mom, it's hard to know what to look for in a daycare before actually sending your baby. Danessa made the transition from home with mom/grandma to daycare such a natural onefor my daughter. I laugh with my husband that it was she that chose Danessa because she absolutely hated the first more traditional day-care that we tried, but loved Danessa from day one! With the mixed-age classroom, my daughter was ahead at almost everything. She talked fairly early and was counting to 10, recognizing colors, saying ABCs, singing and much more in both English and Spanish at 1yo. The space is clean, activities are interesting and engaging, and we get to follow along with pics throughout the day. When we moved away from Center City, we did a 1hr + round trip commute for a year just to take our daughter here. I didn't understand or appreciate what an in-home daycare could bring until I tried ABC. The care and attention the kids here get is all that we hoped for and brought us great peace of mind especially during the pandemic. For all of us, but more so our daughter, Danessa was another extension of our family, and I would 100% recommend all parents to consider this option....

As a first time Mom I was very apprehensive about leaving my little one with just anyone. Walking into Kiddie Klubhouse and speaking with their director Mrs. Aisha, put my mind at ease. It's very clean and well organized. What's more important is the staff is very passionate about caring andteaching the children, it is very obvious. I appreciate that they actively engage my daughter all day with activities and conversation. It's a great daycare and we intend to stay as long as possible!...

My daughter is now 3 and a half, and Michele has been watching my daughter for over 2 years. My daughter cannot contain her excitement when I am dropping her off in the morning. And when I pick her up, she is always very eager to tell me all of the things she has learned that day. Michele hasalways been flexible with my unpredictable schedule and if I need her to watch my daughter on a day I wouldn't regularly send her, Michele's response is always "Please send her, we would love to have her!". My daughter has learned so much from Michele and I never worry about her when she is there. She and her family are some of the nicest people I have met since moving to South Philly and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a child care provider!...

"I will forever be grateful for the care that Miss Danessa & family at ABC has given our baby. As a first time mom, It was daunting having to take our baby to daycare & hard to know what's right, it can feel so scary to leave your kids with new people. At ABC, youfeel how much they care from the very beginning. They were a huge support for us during this transition back into work. It allowed us to work and go about our day with peace of mind. We value their opinions immensely. They are always happy to communicate as well & I highly recommend this daycare. Our daughter started when she was 12 weeks old & they took wonderful care with such love and diligence. I trust them completely, extremely competent as well as very loving, kind, and fun. Our daughter has also learned so much, goes on adventures to the local park and library! She's always coming home with little art projects and knows some Spanish at 19 months old now. Our daughter absolutely loved going to ABC every day, had a big smile on her face when we would get to their door in the mornings. She loved Danessa & family and her friends at school. I love that she was able to learn, socialize, and have so much fun during the day. ABC is the perfect combination of a small, family feel with the professionalism, cleanliness, and safety of a daycare facility & it sure is clean, almost spotless! My family and I moved outside of the city and it was so difficult to leave ABC, we even considered commuting back & forth so our daughter could stay at ABC. I know we will stay in touch and I will send them photos so they can see her grow. I will forever be grateful for them and the care they gave our daughter....

""Michelle is my current daycare provider for my son who is now 5 months old, he's been with her since I had to return to work when he was 3 months. This is my first child and I was very nervous. She helped me ease out of my nerves by having play dates in thebeginning prior to me going back to work, then I would leave him with her so I could do some errands. It made going back to work full-time much easier. I am so happy with her I can't even describe it in words. I am in love with her whole family "" its daycare in her home. Her children are so lovable and well-mannered "" they are becoming his older siblings, reading and talking to my son. (But they do know not to touch too much or anything) As a new mom, I can use all of the help I can get, and Michelle has given me great parenting tips "" however its only when I ask as she is careful to not overstep. My son lights up and gives her the biggest smiles when he sees her, so I know he is very happy. I would (and have) recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a warm, loving home when they themselves can't be with their children."...

I m looking to welcome (3) children into my home for 30-50 hours a week at $10-$12 an hour. Ages welcomed are 2-6, (children who are not yet in school and have full days in need of care) Highlights of my Home Care: Child-Led Learning Letting the child being the initiator of their learning. Iwill have focused attention towards your child s interests, passions, and unique learning style and will be making strong efforts to bring any resources available to your child to facilitate their learning. And have fun doing so! I want to nurture and celebrate their natural sense of joy, wonder and belief in their own limitless potential. Emotional Support and Nurturance The most important aspect of childcare is connecting and meeting the emotional needs of children. I will create an environment for your child that allows them to be heard and express themselves freely without judgement. When they feel emotionally satisfied is when they are truly able to thrive and learn. Organic, Healthy, and Kid-Friendly Lunch and Snacks When it comes to picky eaters I know what I m dealing with. Children do not like to feel controlled when it comes to their diet, that s why I will take initiative in getting the children (even the very young ones) involved in the process. An example would be taking them to the farmers market and letting them pick the veggie that they would like to help me prepare, or finding ways to turn their favorite meals healthy with the best quality ingredients. Allowing choices helps children to feel included and empowered to eat healthy. *All included in the cost Weekly Fieldtrips As fulfilling as the indoor projects and playing will be, there s nothing quite like exploring! We will go on weekly outings to stimulate your child s mind and get natural sunlight. I am located right next to Cloverly Park, the Wissahickon River & Trails, The Zoo, The Touch It Children s Museum, and the Farmers Market. *All included in the cost Discipline - What sets me apart from most nannies is my way of dealing with negative behaviors. I believe in setting limits using gentle guidance instead of punitive punishments. I will never shame your child or give them time outs because I have a deep understanding that a child s bad behavior is simply them acting out a need that they are unable to communicate. Instead I will investigate the ro...
