I have references for pet care, and over night pet sitting. I did purchase insurance but need to locate that document or company. I watch pet training shows every week, it's fun and interesting to me. I've taken a couple dogs through puppy training class and know what resource guarding looks like, but not qualified to train inthat area professionally. I can train for use positive reinforcement for most behaviors, or do overs.

I have 28 years of experience in Family Medicine with humans. I adopted a supposedly viscous dog who just needed basic training and a responsible sober human to accept, love and cherish her. I've had multiple cats and once actually did, with the help of my dad, another FP, drain an abcess on my beloved Max who I miss every day.I've had two dogs as an adult. It's terrible to live without a dog. I moved to NM from S. Cal and became severely hypoxic at that altitude due to an airway obstruction. I ended up having surgery, then eventually moved here back to sea level. I'm slowly getting better but this last year has been a challenge. In Albuquerque I volunteered at the city shelter. I took various levels of training, mostly with dogs. I fostered both post op cats and hospice cats. Communication with any family is key, along with clear instructions in case of any emergency. I would so love to care for an animal again. I founded the Dog spelled backwards is GOD movement....

Growing up as the only child interested in pets, I learned to care for my animals' nutrition, veterinary, and training needs. After conquering the care of my chickens, rabbits, and reptiles, I was ready for a dog. At just 8 years old, I worked as a dog walker to convince my parents I was ready for a dog of my own. When theyagreed, I learned how to train my puppy myself. Since then, I have continued to expand my knowledge of animal behavior to ensure effective, positive-only training practices (which I use with horses, as well). My invaluable experience through pet-sitting, and also as an owner myself, makes me confident in my pet-sitting and training services. I know I wont ever be able to love your pet like you do, but I will try my best to make them feel equally at ease!
For boarding requests - due to the nature of my weekday job, I cannot take boarders M-Fri morning, but am happy to watch your pup, assuming they are cat-tested and cat-friendly, Fri night through Sun evening!...
