"Quick update to the original review I wrote back in February. I would 100% hire Nick again! He was amazingly patient with my son who has ADD and he provided me with valuable feedback to keep me up to date with my son's progress. Before hiring Nick, my son was aH.S. Senior who was struggling with math and physics. There were even concerns he might not catch up and graduate. Well, Nick helped turn all of that around, and my son ended up passing his classes (going from a D- to a B in physics mind you), and graduating. He's now in college and doing well. We've tried online tutoring in the past, as well as going to a very expensive tutoring center, and we had the best experience and progress with Nick, so don't hesitate to give Nick a try!...

Hired by 1 family in your neighborhood

Hello! I'm currently working as a tutor, TA, and pastor but I have years of experience tutoring and teaching at many ages and levels. I have 4 years of experience tutoring math and English for grades K-12. I have about a year of experience as a tutor for high school level regular and honors chemistry and advanced, regular, andAP biology. As an undergraduate at UCSD, I was a TA for cognitive science and neuroscience courses so I'm competent teaching college-level psychology, neuroscience, and cognitive science as well. I have experience working with children as young as 2 years old and feel comfortable working with elementary-aged children, middle-schoolers, high-schoolers as well as college students/adults. My educational philosophy is that students excel when they're interested in what they're learning. To this end, I try to make my sessions fun and exciting and try to inspire interest in the subject we're working on. I hope to hear from you!...

"Elisabeth is amazing. My daughter is a dual language student. She has struggled with her language arts (reading, writing, and spelling) and math. She had only completed half of her lessons when she only had 2 months of school to left. Elisabeth met with her an houra day, 4 days a week. My daughter was able to complete the rest of her math lessons before the end of the year. Her confidence soared and she was so proud of herself. Elisabeth was the best and exactly the help we needed....

I was employed at an early childhood education center, and wastasked with supervising and teaching children. I am an enthusiastic and hard worker who loves working with children, whether it be teaching or babysitting! I also spent the past year tutoring and babysitting children of various ages. I genuinely love children and am elated to return to jobs interacting with children!...

"We could not be more fortunate to have found Demili to look after our toddler son. She was everything we could ever wish for in a care provider. We loved hearing them laugh, and they laughed a lot. They bonded like siblings, and together they came up with the mostcreative and fun games. They built obstacle courses and forts out of sofa cushions, pillows, and throws. They built marble runs and Lego structures. They made play dough people. They played hide and seek throughout our house. They played soccer in our front yard. They took walks around our neighborhood, had a blast at the park and playground, and explored secret forts. They sat on our driveway, shared snacks, and chatted. Their conversations were fascinating and hilarious. After all that, they returned to our kitchen and read books after books. Do we recommend Demili? Yes, wholeheartedly!...

Part Time Tutor

Hi, I'm Neely! I graduated college in May 2023 and did a sales Engineering role for a machine vision company called Cognex. I've also worked internships at Collins Aerospace. I am trying a few different things at the moment and would like to use some of my free time to tutor as I used to do it throughout college and thinkit would be nice to start again. I have experience tutoring math, science, chemistry, and Spanish. I'm sure I could help with most k-12 curriculums, but happy to discuss further if it is something complex or specific. I made a 34 on my ACT and would also be happy to tutor for standardized testing. I have an old practice book as well, but it would be from 2017 and will have to check and make sure there isn't writing. Anyways, happy to hop on a call and discuss capabilities and potential opportunities....

I can’t say enough enough great things about Nick and his tutoring services. We have gone through several tutors, and unfortunately, none have been the right fit for our daughter. We finally do not have to look further with Nick. He teaches and engages vs talking “at” our daughter. He asks probingquestions which gets her to understand the subject. He has a calm & patient energy about him. Since we have been blessed to have found him, our daughter’s grades have improved dramatically. I wish we could keep him to ourselves 😉 but he is too good not to share with others!! ...
