In the Pitt post-game show, Brohm was commenting on the head-scratching Stanford loss. His response, "(Losses like that) are part of the game. It’s going to happen every year."
Excuse me? Championship caliber coaches like Saban, Dabo, or Smart would NEVER say something like that. It’s Brohm’s second season in Louisville and he’s flippantly shrugging off terrible losses in which his own play calling and situational decisions led to the result. With that comment, believe him that the Louisville Football team will not be a legit playoff contender in future seasons because he thinks these losses are just part of the game. That is a loser’s/Kenny Payne mode of thinking and if any other coach had said that, we’d run them out on a rail.
