Nationals Park is the current ballpark for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball. It is the first LEED-certified green major professional sports stadium in the United States. The facility hosted the 2008 season's first game (in North America), when the Nats took on the Atlanta Braves on March 30, 2008. The first game played there was a collegiate baseball game. The stadium is located along the Anacostia River in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C., and replaced RFK Stadium as the Nationals' home ballpark.

Actually, they're saying now it might cost Dc up to $700 Million... and the DC Council and the Mayor have been going at it with each other and with MLB for months...
And on top of all that it'll probably have some silly stupid idiotic name like Eventually To Be Bought By Someone Else Then We'll Have a New Name Bank Field.
I must be slacking off if you can find something left in DC to post...
Yeah, I was just pulling your leg; it's been a while since anyone other than me has submitted a DC post.
I figure DC will cap out at about 750 entries, or what works out to be 12 map submissions per square mile... that leaves quite a bit left for both of us...
