The Recruiting & Training Divisions are responsible for the hiring and training of all Department personnel, both commissioned and non-commissioned. In addition, the Training Division oversees the professional development and continued growth of all members of the Department. This includes continuing education to meet State licensing requirements, enhancing job performance, or preparing a Department member to advance to specialized divisions (such as the Criminal Investigation or Crime Prevention Divisions) or positions of leadership or supervision.
