Abstract
The hypermedia technique is well suited as a basic presentation aid. In this paper the use of hypermedia for presentations is illustrated in an example of a lecture about hypermedia presented to computer science students. Advantages and disadvantages of the hypermedia presentation technique are discussed in comparison with more conventional presentation techniques. Conclusions about the strength and limitations of hypermedia for presentations are made from the practical experiences collected in the example lecture.
