Meet The Team
Paul Taylor
Paul is a FanSided NHL site expert and MLB contributor. He graduated with a first class BA honours journalism & media degree, and has covered numerous MLS, CFL, NHL, MLB, NFL & NLL events over the years dating back to 2010, while being fortunate enough to interview various sporting personalities one-on-one, including Roger Goodell. Previously worked for the BBC and has had his writing featured on Sports Illustrated, Bleacher Report and other major publications. Throughout it all, his one message for anyone in this industry is to never take it for granted.
Jonathan Bailey
Jonathan is an NHL beat reporter covering the Philadelphia Flyers for Philly Hockey Now. He has covered the Flyers at various major events, including the 2024 Stadium Series and the 2024 NHL Draft. Before starting his professional career, Jonathan covered Monmouth University’s various Division I sports teams as the Sports Editor of The Outlook newspaper. He was also a contributor for Pucks and Pitchforks and served as the Site Expert of Broad Street Buzz and The Canuck Way for FanSided.

Miles Bolton
Miles Bolton is a contributor for The Canuck Way. He covers Canucks uniforms, statistics and history. He specializes in writing features and profiles. Miles has written for The Canuck Way since 2022. He is a graduate journalism student at New York University, and also writes for Pavement Pieces. He is incredibly knowledgeable on past Canucks games and is able to name every game, opponent and final score from the 2010–11 season to present. He also runs the Canucks History social media accounts.

Todd Matthews
Todd Matthews ran Sabre Noise and Raising Zona under the pen name Sion Fawkes between 2022 and 2024 before he switched his full focus to the NHL. A lifelong hockey fan, Todd now covers the entire NHL at FanSided as the Lead Editor and he is always happy to write about the league’s current happenings and its history. When he’s not writing about hockey, Todd is often found working out either in the gym or running on trails. He is a fan of symphonic and power metal, and an avid listener of audiobooks, particularly in the fantasy genre, and he can be reached at todd.matthews@fansided.com.
