Beast Wars cartoon
During the period just after the spacecraft had passed Saturn, the original Megatron inscribed a message on the disk, resulting in Voyager carrying his message into space. The disk eventually ended up on Cybertron where it was stolen by the Predacon rogue Megatron, while the fate of the Voyager spacecraft itself remained unrecorded. The Agenda (Part 2)
Swindle's Spiel
Swindle, Swindle and Swindle had the original Voyager 2 spacecraft for sale. He'd heard the rumors about messages encoded in it, but thought that all that "DaVinci Code" stuff was nonsense. Swindle's Spiel, 4/10/2015
War for Cybertron Trilogy cartoon
As Galvatron was thrown back to his own time period after meeting up with Megatron, he passed the Voyager probe, which was presumably where he got the Golden Disk he had attempted to pass off to his past self. Kingdom episode 1
2021 Beast Wars comic
Carrying the Golden Disk, the Voyager probe made several trips though time, enough for its cargo to become saturated with unspace energy, eventually crashing on an asteroid in the Upsilonus Belt. Voyager's wreckage was eventually found by Landquake who fished the Golden Disk from its remains and brought it to Cybertron. Maximals Strike Back, Part 1
Notes
- The real-life Voyager probes were launched in 1977, seven years before the traditional date of the Transformers' revival. Megatron's line about Voyager being launched "just as the secret war between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth was beginning" could be attributed to the distance of history, information creep, or the general embargo on Earth and its history in the Beast Era timeframe. That being said, both probes were still in the Solar System as of 1984 (Voyager 2 would do a flyby of Uranus in January 1986), and in the Sunbow cartoon continuity, at least, it would be a brief jaunt for Astrotrain to ferry Megatron over to intercept either one.
