Synopsis
At Autobot HQ, Professor Sumdac explains to Sari how he found a small robot baby in a pod eight years ago. When he touched it, he was struck by a powerful electric shock, and when he woke up, the robot baby was gone, replaced by Sari. Prowl confirms the presence of Sumdac's DNA in Sari's body-scan and theorizes that it was a protoform he discovered and that its prime field scanners scanned him when searching for an alternate mode.
Sari forgives her father for not telling her the truth after so many years, but their hug is interrupted by the sudden return of Starscream... in Omega Supreme's body!?
Rampaging through Detroit, Starscream clutches Megatron in his hand, mocking his comparative small stature and helplessness. The Autobots arrive and Ratchet is horrified at the sight of Starscream possessing his friend. Starscream explains that after he, Omega and Megatron were thrust through the space bridge warp, Megatron sought to use Omega to return to Cybertron, powering him with Starscream's spark. Starscream, however, had other plans, and took over Omega's systems.
As Starscream begins trouncing the Autobots, Bulkhead panics and wonders where Optimus has gone. Prowl answers that their leader will be back shortly, but until then, it's up to them to fight.
Sari decides to help in the battle and, using her key, upgrades into her more powerful teenage self (much to the thrill of Bumblebee). Unfortunately, her energy blasts prove little effect against Starscream.
Then, when all hope seems lost, Optimus comes swooping down out of the sky in his Wing Blade armor. The distraction causes Starscream to lose his grip on Megatron, who buries his sword in Starscream's face, right into the teensy chip controlling his link system. Megatron orders Optimus to incinerate the chip and Optimus complies, hitting the sword with his "Magnus Hammer Thunder Attack". The lightning attack blows the chip and Omega Supreme falls over, lifeless.
Down on the ground, Optimus orders Prowl to ensure all traces of Starscream are removed from Omega while he deals with the last loose end. Approaching Megatron, Optimus tells him to get off the planet. Megatron laughs, asking if Optimus really thinks he can defeat a conqueror of the universe. Optimus answers, "Without a doubt".
The two foes then agree to commence their final battle and fly up into the Heavens, clashing sword against hammer.

Notes
- This issue is a REALLY loose adaptation of parts II and III of "TransWarped" (Sari's origin and upgrade, Starscream taking control of Omega Supreme), bringing in some elements from "Endgame, Part I" (Wingblade Optimus) in order to set the stage for the series finale next issue.
- In the parts I and II of "TransWarped", Sari held a grudge against her father for keeping the secret of her origin, until she saw how much she truly meant to him. Here, she doesn't believe it an issue, as she considers Isaac her father no matter what.
