Primacron
From Transformers Wiki
Primacron is an absolutely ancient scientist. He's supposedly hyper-intelligent with an infinity of intricate plans nested within plans, but he sometimes over-thinks things to the point of coming off as rather dim.
His major claim to fame is being responsible for building Unicron near the beginning of the galaxy. Thanks for nothing.

Primacron existed at the beginning of the universe and built "some of the Primitives" with his assistant. As he grew more ambitious, Primacron eventually constructed Unicron, who rebelled against him. Unicron's attack appeared to destroy the assistant and badly injured Primacron.
Primacron was down but not out, though. Not to be undone by a giant planet-devouring robotic monster, Primacron returned in 2006 to try the whole conquest thing again. This time, he created the giant energy-siphoning monster Tornedron. The same thing proceeded to happen again and Primacron would have been dead, if not for Grimlock's simple instincts (which somehow told him to reverse the polarity). Grimlock then proceeded to wreck his lab. Call of the Primitives
Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity
In the world before, Primacron was the pet of Primus, the protector of the universe. After spending ages at his side, Primacron developed a great intellect and scientific skill he kept hidden from his master. After Primus used the Black Matrix to peer into the next universe, he grew afraid his enemy would succeed in their scheme to recreate the universe in their image. Primacron revealed to Primus he'd devised a scheme to stop the Vok by using Seven Lights to restart the universe themselves. As he explained this to Primus, he revealed he had tapped into the power to create what he called Angolmois Energy. However, this only horrified his master, whose vision of the future made him realize Primacron would seek to become the god of this new universe. This made Primacron believe he would succeed, and he set his Assistant Corps on Primus, and escaped to continue his scheming. Finale Prelude
Making his way to the Blue Planet, Primacron spoke to the Three Wise Ones about his plan to harness all Star Power into the Silver Matrix and restart the universe. Super Megatron comic 2 Flanked by the Three Wise Ones, Primacron made his way into the city and demanded to know why Primus was calling forth Angolmois Energy into their universe and what his endgame was. God Neptune comic 1 With his mighty pointer finger, Primus said that his goal was the destruction of Primacron's ambition, opening a time portal to summon forth Primitive warriors. God Neptune comic 2
With the Dinobots chomping at his heels, Primacron fell back and activated the Blue Planet's robot mode, turning it into "Neo Primus", a planet-sized Angolmois energy collecting robot. As Primarcon piloted his mecha to the site of Megatron's space battle, Primus began his own plan to restart the universe. Finale Prelude
Primus' plan did not work and Primacron took the chance to seize his former master in a tractor beam, blasting apart his Golden Power body. Before he could enslave Primus, the Primus Vanguard came to their namesake's rescue. Uninterested in events, Primacron made ready to return to his evil plans before Volcanicus and Hun-Gurrr disabled Neo Primus' power feeds and forced the giant to return to Blue Planet mode. "A great length of time" after all the extradimensional visitors had returned to their own universe, Primacron had disappeared.
In the next world, Primacron and his former master were the only two beings to survive the transition. With Primus' essence contained in a vessel he'd created, Primacron shackled Primus into being his servant, and used the power within him to give life to his experiments until his creation Unicron turned on him. Primus would remember this as the beginning of a life defined by being used by others. Finale Bonus Edition Vol. EX When Unicron's rebellion allowed Primus to escape captivity, Primacron desperately shouted after him to come back as only Primus could defeat Unicron. Finale
After the unleashing of Tornedron out into the cosmos, Primacron was put on trial in 2011 The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 2 for his crimes against the universe. Restrained by mechanical shackles and guarded by both Quintesson Bailiffs and Sharkticons, Primacron was presented before the judge Adveraros for his sentencing. Primacron freely admitted to creating both Tornedron and Unicron, but added that the latter was the prototype for all mechanical life in the universe, and considering his current entourage, this could hardly be considered a crime. After silencing the defendant, Adveraros stated that acts of Unicron had been classified as "natural disasters" long ago, and due to the lack of evidence found after the destruction of Primacron's lab, he could not be readily tied to Tornedron's creation either. Primacron's own admissions held little weight as he was considered to be legally insane. Primacron was acquitted, but Adveraros ruled that he would be sent to Doruka III for his own safety.
Wise to the Quintessons' plans to harvest Primacron's brain on the asylum planet, the Autobots moved in to rescue him, only for the Decepticons to rush the courtroom as well. In the ensuing chaos, Primacron managed to remove his shackles, and rebuilt them into a high-tech whistle. With this device, he took control of all nearby "Primitive" robots, and used them to subdue Adveraros. Primacron asked if the Quintesson still refused to believe that he was the progenitor of mechanical life, in light of this feat. Adveraros was steadfast in his denials, even after Primacron informed him that he had once created bacterial machines that were likely Quintesson ancestors.
The Autobots finally managed to reach Primacron and took him into protective custody. Optimus and his soldiers informed Primacron that he would be sent to another Universe, but Primacron was unfazed by this; having attained "mythical" status in his home universe, he would no longer have been able to operate freely anyways. Before being sent away, Primacron was asked one final question by Wheeljack; the Autobot was concerned over the nature of his kind's inception, and wondered if Primacron would have been able to create the Cybertronians' souls. Primacron chose to answer enigmatically with an analogy, stating that a being may know how to build a fire... but that being did not create fire, merely brought into being something that is part of nature. Controverse His meeting with Wheeljack would go on to inspire the latter in his research that eventually discovered the spark in 2025. The Road to Legends' Revival Chapter 2
Ask Vector Prime
Subsequent to his trial on the OG World, Primacron explored and researched other dimensions wherein robotic life was created by Primus. Concluding that such a prospect was cosmic madness, he began to attack them with a terrible weapon capable of deleting universes with ease. Detecting his experiment, Optimus Primal and the Protectors rushed to stop him, but Primacron, tired of having others fight for him, personally engaged the Protectors with Solduron, a nigh-invincible armor. With Solduron, Primacron beat back the Protectors, destroying Primal's body, but Primal had experience with non-corporeality and persevered as just a spark. Amazingly, Primal's wisdom convinced Primacron of the futility of his actions, and the scientist withdrew from Newtonian space for an indeterminate period of time. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/30

Ask Vector Prime
Vector Prime clarified that any Unicron created by a Primacron was not the multiversal singularity Unicron. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/05/22 He also noted that Primacron was not immune to fashion trends, wearing a yellow helmet because it was "all the rage" in Primax 984.17 Alpha. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/13
In Aurex 304.0 Epsilon, the mad genius Primacron unleashed Mini-Cons on the cosmos. He also created Tornedron, which drained the entire universe dry of life and energy; Primacron did not survive his ultimate creation's exponential growth. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/08/11
Notes
- When first telling their story, the assistant calls him "the being we will refer to as Primacron" and later calls himself "the Primacron's assistant". These seem to suggest that "Primacron" may actually be some sort of title and not this creature's actual name, though subsequent fiction has not gone with this interpretation.
