Stinger is one of Blaster's Autobot Mini-Cassettes. He transforms into a scorpion-like Arachnodroid.

Fiction

Realities where Stinger, Bolts, Cubbie, and Stripes were among Blaster's cassettes often included Anibots as well. Beachcomber thought it cruel to keep them in a roboto-zoo but Vector Prime saw little alternative. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/24

In an early draft for The Transformers: The Movie, Stinger would have been released out of Blaster's chest to combat the Decepticon Mini-Cassettes during the Battle of Autobot City. Stinger, through teamwork with "Bolts" (an early name for the Eject/Rewind mold), would have stung and scared away Frenzy.
