Russia’s Battlegroup Center makes Ukraine lose up to 600 troops in past day

According to Alexander Savchuk, the battlegroup’s units continued to move deeper into enemy defenses

MOSCOW, March 8. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup Center made Ukraine lose up to 600 troops in the past day, battlegroup spokesman Alexander Savchuk said.

"The enemy lost up to 600 troops, a tank, and six armored combat vehicles, including two VAB armored personnel carriers and two M113 carriers. Two motor vehicles and two artillery systems were also destroyed," he specified.

According to Savchuk, the battlegroup’s units continued to move deeper into enemy defenses. They hit the forces of two Ukrainian mechanized brigades, two National Guard brigades and an assault regiment near the settlements of Alexeyevka, Petrovksoye, Kotlin, Udachnoye, Sribnoye, Uspenovka and Zverevo.
