MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of responsibility of Russia’s Center battlegroup amounted to 475 servicemen in one day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"Units of Russia’s Center battlegroup improved their position along the front line. They defeated formations of six mechanized brigades, three ranger brigades, two assault brigades, an airborne brigade, an unmanned systems brigade, an assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a marine brigade, and two brigades of the National Guard in the areas of the settlements of Novopavlovka, Udachnoye, Krasnoarmeysk, Zverevo, Nadezhdinka, Grodovka, Dimitrov, Elizavetovka, Andreyevka, Kotlino, Ivanopolye, Muravka, and Uspenovka in the Donetsk People's Republic," the ministry said.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the enemy lost up to 475 servicemen, an M113 armored personnel carrier and a US-made HMMWV armored fighting vehicle, as well as five vehicles. Five artillery pieces were destroyed, including a German-made 155 mm RCH 155 self-propelled artillery unit and a US-made ANT/PQ-36 counter-battery radar station.
