Kiev could run out of Patriot missiles in few weeks — TV

According to the broadcaster, the Kiev authorities currently have no alternative to Patriot missiles

NEW YORK, March 5. /TASS/. Without new supplies from Washington, Kiev could run out of Patriot missiles in a matter of weeks, CNN reported, citing a Ukrainian official.

According to the broadcaster, the Kiev authorities currently have no alternative to Patriot missiles. However, CNN points out that it is yet unclear how many missiles Ukraine has left.

The TV channel estimates that Kiev is unlikely to have more than six Patriot systems at the moment.

A Pentagon official told TASS earlier that the US Armed Forces had suspended supplies of military aid to Ukraine. According to him, the move concerns all US military equipment that has not yet reached Ukraine, including weapons transported by aircraft and vessels or waiting to be shipped from transit zones in Poland.
