- Yet more new minions with new behaviors in the midlands. (Most recent addition among many: a family of werecats in the midlands.)
- Across the board defense boost. Previously, players took a minimum 25% of an attack's damage no matter how high their defense was. Now, the damage suffered is just 15%. Should make life a little easier for everyone, and especially the sword-wielding classes.
- And speaking of unloved sword classes, the warrior's special ability has been changed. It now doubles the warrior's defense for a short period of time. That plus the aforementioned def adjustment makes the warrior the ultimate tank. There's a downside though: the warrior slows down during and shortly after using the def boost.
- Level restrictions on items. It has been impossible for us to balance the difficulty of Oryx's minions when we don't know if a level one player is going to be wielding a tier 1 item or a tier 8 item. Now a level one player can't wield a tier 8 item anymore. We've tried to carefully choose the level restrictions but as always, its an ongoing process and we'll adjust based on our observations of players in the testing server.
- UI improvements (mostly to item descriptions.) And there's now a particle trail that shows you when one enemy is healing another, so you can more easily determine who to kill first. And finally, there's a much-needed warning about storing pet generators in your vault now, so you don't lose them when your character dies.
