Open Source Projects
The following is a list of Open Source projects that need people to work on the documentation. If you are interested in volunteering to help with one of these projects, email the contact person directly.
If you are involved in the development of Open Source software, and you are looking to recruit people to work on the documentation for your project, please send a note with the project name, homepage, contact information, and a short description of the project and its documentation requirements. Your project will be announced on the OSWG mailing list and added to this list.
GQ
GQ is a generic LDAP client. It is a GUI application that uses GTK.

Aegis is a transaction-based software configuration management system.
Ganymede
Ganymede is a team-oriented directory management system for networks.
Universe
Universe is a turn-based space strategy game, similar to Master of Orion.
FreeBSD
FreeBSD is a Unix-like OS for Intel and Alpha platforms, with the source code freely available under the BSD license.
eThreads
eThreads provides highly customizable, threaded forum software for your website.
GNOME
GNOME stands for "GNU Network Object Model Environment". The GNOME project intends to build a complete, user-friendly desktop based entirely on free software.
KDE
KDE is a powerful graphical desktop environment for Unix workstations. It combines ease of use, contemporary functionality and outstanding graphical design with the technological superiority of the Unix operating system.
GNU Project
Project GNU, sponsored and supported by the Free Software Foundation, has been working on a free Unix-compatible operating system since the mid-1980s. Many of the results - Emacs, GDB, and GCC, for example - are in wide use today in free operating systems like GNU/Linux.
PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor
PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. Much of its syntax is borrowed from C, Java, and Perl with a couple of PHP-specific features thrown in.
