luit は xterm の国際化プログラム。FreeBSD の ports では、有効にしてある。

これが、Xorg 6.9 からの更新時には更新されないために、/usr/X11R6 以下に残ってしまう。Xorg の手順の中で抜けてしまったのだろう。Xorg 6.9 からの更新が終わっても以下のようなエラーが出る。

xterm: Can't execvp /usr/X11R6/bin/luit: No such file or directory
xterm: cannot support your locale

luit の PORTREVISION を上げて、luit を入れ直す。

そして、xterm の更新も必要になる。xterm が luit のパスが埋め込まれるので、luit の更新が先になる必要がある。その為、BUILD_DEPENDS を加える。
