Everyone wants everything for free
?Neyer hits the nail on the head:
Wilson: Yeah, I wish the season were shorter but I'm not sure how that can happen.
Neyer: Well, what about scheduling six doubleheaders? Do that and you've shortened the season by a week.
Wilson: Sounds good to me.
Neyer: Even if that means less revenue for the clubs, and a tiny bit less for the players?
Wilson: No.
Which reminds me of something Ensberg wrote, that between innings, he'd like it be 90 seconds, not 150 seconds, but "we've got to gets paid". Or people wanting more border security and enforcement, but not wanting to pay with it with higher taxes.
