Are daily gaming leagues legal?
I don't follow the gaming market too much, so I'm hoping those that do can chime in.
There's these startups, notably TopLine Game Labs (from a former Yahoo gaming exec) that deals with daily leagues. You pick players who you think will have the best stats that day. Apparently, the illegal part is if you base it on team wins. So, how much of a difference is it to base it on individual players instead? Imagine if you create a daily gaming league based on which pitcher (and naturally, it could be a reliever) will get an official "W" and "L". ?How far removed is that?
