I finally opened the shop!

Hi guys, I've been seriously busy for the past few weeks, mainly because I've been painting my Fantasy army and I was also getting things done for the shop.

The shop is called Hobby Forge Enterprise. I'm still doing my best to let the shop grow and bring in more stock for the shop. Not to mention, get the other hidden things done.

I will take better pictures this weekend. Currently I'm opening the shop at the weekend, the time should be about before noon till dinner time. Haha. From the pictures it looks small, but truth be told, I can have up to 4 gaming tables at a time.

I would really like to personally thank Ivan for really helping me out, he helped me assemble most of the shelves, give me great ideas and showed me places where I can get things nice and cheap. He practically helped me with almost everything we see at the shop today. The people's choice really helped a lot man. :D

I would also want to thank Doc Selvam for giving me great business ideas too and by donating lots of terrain to the shop. Well, I'm starting small now, so I need as much help as I can.

Syamael also help me by assembling the shelves with Ivan, they both practically had a great exercise on that day when we were preparing for the unofficial opening. Haha.

Finally, I would also want to extend my thanks to all the other guys who I should not mention as they would like to remain anonymous. These are the unsung heroes that contributed by giving me challenging scenarios for me to think about so I can go about the obstacles. You guys know who you are.

I thank everyone for making the time and effort to looking for Hobby Forge, I know it's quite hard to find the shop, but it needs some time before people get used to coming to the shop. I'll be preparing a detailed map on how to get there.

I will be doing a tournament in May and the official opening for the shop at the same time too. For now, it's more of a test run kinda thing. Hope to see you guys there!

I'll be posting about my painting soon enough when all the busyness slows down...

My new army... again?! Short Forge World Review.

Aloa! Long time no see mi amigos!

I've been busy painting my Fantasy army for the up and coming campaign and I've been putting lots of time into hobbying in the past few weeks. I will post pictures of them up soon when the secret army is out.

For now, I'll just show what other army I'm working on at the same time. Chaos Renegade Militia!

This is what I've bought...

2 sets of conversions, 1 set of weapon arms, 1 set of vehicle crews and the Chaos Renegade Psyker set. This is enough to start me off to my 2,000 point list. Awesome!

Have to warn you guys that my camera is sick. It can't really focus well an all that, so I think I might need to take it to the doctor or just replace it...

Conversion set. Nice...

Chaos Renegade Vehicle Crew. I bought these just to make sure my vehicles will look real Chaos when I convert and paint them...

The arms that come with this set is amazing. Love the pointy finger. Never had enough pointy fingers...

This is the part where I go crazy. £ 10 for 2 models. 2 FREAKING FORGE WORLD MODELS FOR £ 10! That is £ 5 each! It's almost cheaper than any character/single model you can ever find in the GW Direct store.

The thingy that comes with this set. Oh, and 2 bases too...

The weapon arms set is a really good deal. You get the Vox Caster, which means extra model! I bought this set just for the coolness of the guns. I need more meltas and plasmas anyway...

I'll be quite busy with assignments these few days, but I'm pushing my hobby time and stretching it. I normally sleep around 3am in the morning and wake up around 9am to continue work.

Stay tuned for the next update! :D

Kindred - A recap of the double's tournament.

I was quite busy for the past few days as I've got lots of work coming up. Also, I'm preparing my first Fantasy army for the next Legio Fantasy Campaign.

Anyway, held on the 6th of March was Kindred, organized by our very own legionnaires Khairul and Arzmi.

More pictures can be found in these links.

Some of them are here.

This is the turn counter I made for this tournament, it's just for fun.

Da happy warboss!

These are Ivan's Tyranid Warriors. Nicely converted. This team won the People's Choice Award as they have a very nice force.

Joe and I was teamed up to kill as many things as we can. Orks and World Eaters, looks quite hilarious and killy at the same time. :D

Game 1 - Joe and I had to fight Shah and Emil (World Eaters & Death Guards). They had Abaddon in their list. Luckily for us, we had extra turns that we can manage to grab the objectives in time. My Ork Boyz got 2 objectives by making the conga line. Haha. We had a narrow victory.

Game 2 - We had to fight Jeff and Azlan (Imperial Guard & Sisters of Battle), the main threat on the table was Azlan's Battlecannon Leman Russ. It was freakishly scary as I'm playing Orks and can't afford to get blasted off just like that.

Luckily, Joe managed to Deep Strike his Combi-Melta Terminators and took out the Leman Russ before it did any damage. My rolls were lucky too, I only lost an Ork Boy in this game. Jeff's sisters were quite scary with their faith points, they single handedly killed Joe's Daemon Prince.

The World Eaters and the Orks managed to pull a victory by sheer luck and dice rolls.

Game 3 - The third game was a blast! We had to fight against the scariest list around, the Tyranids. When Ivan and Dann brought their army, we had doubts of winning since there were lots of Bonesword wielding warriors and the Mawloc and more shooty warriors.

With the tactics and ideas from Joe, we managed to lure the Tyranids to a never ending struggle to reach us. While the warriors were chasing the boyz, the lootas shot down quite a lot of warriors.

The mawloc appeared and caused some mayhem in my lines. Luckily with the help of the Khorne Berzerkers, it went down. At the end, the results were quite obvious, we had pulled our third victory in the tournament. Luck, strategy and tactics brought us to victory...

It was clear that we won the Best General Award.

Ivan and Dann got the People's Choice Award. Nicely done guys!

The Best Sportsmanship Award went to Johnny and Christopher.

The Team Hobby Champion went to Jeff and Azlan, for having such great fluff and similar cast bases and colour scheme, they really earned it.

Joe and I won the lucky draw for these 2 big posters. Didn't I say we were lucky? We gave the posters to Legio so they can put it up and decorate the place to make it look more "Warhammery" lol.

Thanks again to the brothers, Khairul and Arzmi for organizing such a successful and interesting event. We all agreed that this was the best event ever done in Legio.

Congrats to everyone who won!
