- Global Justice Now, formerly known as the World Development Movement (WDM), is a membership organisation based in the United Kingdom which campaigns on issues of global justice and development in the Global South. The organisation produces research on topics on the developing world and free trade. Examples include their work against trade deals such as TTIP, or highlighting how UK aid has been used. Much of their research is aimed at attempting to demonstrate how corporation power, supported by governments, has an adverse effect on those living in poverty. (en)

De organisatie wil vooral onrechtvaardigheden tegenover de armere wereldbevolking aankaarten, met name de economische uitbuiting in wereldhandel en ontwikkelingshulp. Zo voerde de organisatie reeds campagnes tegen voedselspeculatie. Ook de Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation van filantroop Bill Gates lag onder vuur, omdat de 'ontwikkelingshulp' van de Stichting eerder grote bedrijven ten goede kwam, in plaats van de armen. Global Justice Now maakt deel uit van het ATTAC-netwerk, een overkoepelende organisatie van andersglobalisme. Het promoot vooral democratische alternatieven zoals voedselsoevereiniteit, wil het publiek debat stimuleren, en meer mensen bewust maken van wereldwijde vraagstukken. (nl)
