- The National Seismological Center of the University of Chile (Spanish: Centro Sismológico Nacional de la Universidad de Chile (CSN)) is part of the Department of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Chile. The center collects information about seismic activity in Chile and delivers it to the National Office of Emergency at the Ministry of the Interior (ONEMI) and the Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service of the Chilean Navy (SHOA). The current director of the CSN is Sergio Barrientos Parra. The National Seismological Center is housed by the Department of Geophysics (DGF). (en)
- El Centro Sismológico Nacional (CSN), anteriormente llamado Servicio Sismológico de Chile, es un organismo sismológico chileno, dependiente de la Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas (FCFM) de la Universidad de Chile. Su sede está en el Departamento de Geofísica de dicha facultad (avenida Blanco Encalada 2002). Su actual director es Sergio Barrientos. Tiene como misión entregar información sismológica a la Oficina Nacional de Emergencia del Ministerio del Interior (ONEMI) y al Servicio Hidrográfico y Oceanográfico de la Armada de Chile (SHOA). A febrero de 2011 contaba con 65 estaciones sismológicas repartidas por todo el país. En la Red Sismológica Mundial es conocida con la sigla GUC, acrónimo de "Geofísica Universidad de Chile".[cita requerida] (es)
