Matthew Febey (born 19 August 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne in the Australian Football League (AFL) during the 1990s. Originally from Devonport, Febey was drafted to Melbourne in 1986 but suffered from injuries and before he made his senior debut got delisted. He nominated for the draft again in 1992 and was picked up mid-season by Melbourne from his then club Rochester. Almost immediately he made his debut and established a place in the side, often on the wing. An inaccurate kick at goal, his 44 career goals were surpassed by his 60 behinds.
