- Mandeer És una ciutat i consell d'unió del Districte de Gujrat , en la província de Panjab de Pakistan. És part del Tehsil Kharian i és localitzat a 32°46'0N 73°50'0E amb una altitud de 256 metres (843 peus). La majoria de la població pertany a la tribu Jat. Fins als tardans 1970s l'agricultura i l'exèrcit eren els únics sectors on les persones treballaven. L'agricultura és una professió oblidada avui dia. Les petites propietats de terra i cap font apropiada de regatge va forçar persones per buscar alternatives. Des d'aleshores fins a la meitat dels 1990 l'Orient Mitjà era la destinació favorita pels treballadors. Però ara persones de Mandeer estan treballant i vivint en Europa, principalment Dinamarca, Noruega, França i Catalunya. Molts d'ells ben assentats i vivint amb les seves famílies a Europa i els EUA La ciutat de Mandeer és travessada per la carretera que uneix les ciutats de Dinga i Kharian. La zona de Mandeer està situada en el Doab (paraula autòctona que indica regions entre grans rius) de Chaj. Concretament entre la cordillera Pabee i la Vall del riu Chenab. (ca)
- Mandeer is a town and union council of Gujrat District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of Kharian Tehsil and is located at 32°46'0N 73°50'0E with an altitude of 256 metres (843 feet). The majority of the population belongs to Jatt tribe. Until the late 1970s agriculture and army were the only fields where the people were working. Agriculture is a forgotten profession nowadays. Small land holdings and no proper source of irrigation have forced people to look for alternatives. From then on till mid-1990s Middle East was the favourite destination for the workers. But now people from Mandeer are working and living in Europe, mainly Denmark, Norway, France and UK. This make Mandeer one of the richest village of Pakistan. Many are well settled and living with their families in Europe and U.S.A. (en)
