Best site to sell concert tickets?

I purchased tickets for a concert I can no longer attend. I'd like to offer them up for sale somewhere so I can get some (all?) of my money back. What is the best site for relisting tickets?

Am I thinking about accessibility wrong?

I got tickets for New York City's Homecoming Concert and mentioned it on Facebook. A friend commented that they would love to get tickets but wouldn't physically be able to make it through the entire concert. I suggested the ADA seating in case they didn't know that was an option. An album tells a story that I want to hear from beginning to end

Is there a good tool that will convert an album into an audiobook, with each song marked as a chapter? I want to listen to albums from beginning to end, possibly skipping or repeating songs. But if I get interrupted, I want to resume just where I stopped. And I never want to shuffle. Does this thing exist? [more inside]

Video entertainment for my grandfather

My 95-year old grandfather needs some entertainment. Help me make a playlist of free online videos I can share with his caretakers! I've started collecting them here, to give you an idea: great full-length classical concerts, documentaries with clear visuals and narration (I added one on Ansel Adams; nature/engineering ones are also good), classic visually-arresting films low on dialogue (e.g. The Red Balloon, Buster Keaton), and calm shows like Great British Bake-Off he can zone in and out of. Music me in DC

It's too cold for weeknight meanderings so I'd like to try and spend some evenings listening to live music. Where can I go to see, specifically, classical piano, string quartet, blues, funk, or bluegrass shows in DC, on weeknights, for under $20? Alternatively, what's the most exhaustively comprehensive listing of music events in DC? Needs to be in DC proper, not MD/VA suburbs.

What to expect, other than being as awkward as always.

I, mid-30s, fat, incredibly introverted, and completely not at all cool, have been invited to a concert tonight for a group I'm really excited to see, with some people I know who're a few years younger than me. Problem: I have never before been to a concert at a bar like this, and I'm incredibly nervous about it because I have no idea what to expect. So how do events like this actually work? [more inside]

Drinks + live music in SF?

Appropriate to knit during classical music concert?

I am going to a classical music concert tonight at a fancy venue. It's a 2 hour concert indoors with assigned seating and I would absolutely love to bring my knitting with me. I am not sitting anywhere near the front, I will be sitting in the main orchestra level. I would be using bamboo needles, which don't make any sounds and aren't reflective. Is it rude to fellow concertgoers to be knitting openly during the concert?

Upcoming folksy concerts in Paris

I'm looking for some concert recommendations in Paris in February or March in the singer-songerwriter/folksy vein. Guitars, good melodies, good lyrics (English preferred). Josh Ritter is a good example. Are there any shows on Songkick (or other aggregators I'm not aware of) that you would recommend? Or maybe your favorite band is passing through on tour? Thanks!

A comprehensive schedule for Christmas Music specials on BBC for 2013?

Every year I look forward to BBC Radio's Christmas music specials (especially choral concerts), including the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve. In 2005 the Beeb broadcast a concert called 'Carols by Candlelight' by the Chapter House Choir that was delightful. And so every year, I scan the schedules of the various BBC Radio services to see what I can find, but I invariably miss something or other (I'm in the US, btw). For all you radioheads in the UK: is there an all-in-one place to go that has a complete list of that kind of thing?

When and where did I see Chicago on the "Chicago 16" tour?

Does anybody really know what time it was (in 1982, or 1983, when I saw my first concert...)? For a piece on first-ever concerts, I'm trying to figure out when I saw Chicago on their "Chicago 16" tour. I'm guessing it was 1982 and it was in St. Paul, Minnesota, so probably at the St. Paul Civic Center, though I can't swear to that. Are there any master concert lists for the band Chicago, or a ticket stub somewhere? I'd also be curious to see what we paid and if there was an opening act...
